See the "Middle Kingdom" through the eyes of a British/Australian (from Melbourne, Australia) living and working in China

Guilin - on the bridge - (Jie Fang Bridge) heading into the city - an electric
motorbike and one of the many small cars that populate the cities streets.
Untill recently in many Chinese cities it wasillegal to own and register a new
small car or small "engined" motorbike. This ofcourse seems rather absurd
given the poor state of china's air quality - obviously it had very little to do with
"the people" and much to do with the fact that the "government" receives income
from the gas sales of the state owned "gas companies".
