Huaihua - east - an apartment building sits deserted in a
now eroding farmers field - China's landscape is changing -
the once fertile rice fields are being transformed into
"sub-divisions" for the "middle-class" elite. The question
remains where do the farmers now move to ? - After generations
on the land - these farmers are being pushed into the newly
created cities or further and further west into the
underdeveloped regions of China.
