In a narrow "nong tang" (alley) in the Laishan district on the eastern edge of the city, the blue frame of a window is all that remains to show that a building was once lived in. Now abandoned the old brick and stone building, a traditional "Hutong" style dwelling is one of very few remaining in the residential area in a neighborhood being converted into stores and concrete apartment buildings.

Yes - The two most important people that I know are Lucy (running) and Cecilia (background) We had an excellent afternoon on the beach, although the water isn't safe to swim in, (very polluted) the weather was fine, the breeze gentle the air fresh. The first day this year that we went to the beach (without wearing five layers of clothing). Lucy my daughter and Cecilia my partner.
